THE MAKEUP REVOLUTION CONCEAL AND DEFINE REVIEW

Hello dear readers! I’m going to be reviewing a great product I purchased not too long ago. It is the Makeup Revolution Conceal and Define concealer in C18.

I was in need of a concealer for cream contour and I’ve been hearing a lot about the product so I decided to try it out.C18 revolution conceal and define

The Revolution Conceal and define comes in a whooping 25 shade range. It is described on the website as a concealer for everyone. There are warm, neutral and cool shades from fair to deep tones.

I copped mine from the Beauty Frenzy Shop

It retailed for 4800NGN

PACKAGING

It comes in this amazing 3.4ml glass-like bottle with an applicator.  It is very travel friendly and the applicator makes is super easy to apply. I’m so here for the lilac toned design on the label with the see through container to let you know how far you’ve gone with the usage. A1 for the packaging!

CONSISTENCY AND FORMULA

According to the Revolution Beauty Website, it is a lightweight yet full coverage concealer to cover blemishes, even skin tone and counteract dark circles, with a matte finish that won’t settle or accentuate fine lines and pores. Long wearing intense pigment that can also be used to contour and add definition.

On application it looks like this and takes about 10 minutes before it dries. This makes it very blendable

After drying.. matte finish

I watched a video online and someone even said she doesn’t need to powder contour with it. i tried it out the first time and i was wowed! All the claims were correct. I didn’t even prime my face. I only used a moisturizer underneath my foundation and oh my, was it bomb or what? It has a rather paint-y scent but it is not choking or bothersome.

REVIEWmakeup revolution conceal and define review c18

It wears matte on my skin without being dry. I think what I love most about this product is how well it blends. Many of these marketed matte products always come with a downside of being “un-blend-able” and imagine the struggle having to blend this dark shade into your skin with a terrible consistency. It was long wearing, didn’t run under the humid weather even without setting with a powder.honey ricci conceal and define review

Another thing I love about this product and this shade in particular is the warmth, it really is a hit! somehow they got the rich dark pigment without being borderline charcoal grey ash and the warm undertones without it being too red. It’s so flattering to warm toned individuals like myself.

PROS AND CONSMakeup revolution conceal and define swatches

The pros have pretty much been stated.

  • It is long-wearing, well-formulated and blends easily
  • The price OMG, a whooping 4pounds only. we are getting a good run for our money. Very affordable and does even a better job than some high end brands.
  • It is WOC friendly
  • Amazing packaging

For the cons, I would only say they can improve on the scent a little. It doesnt bother me though. Like I said, it is really faint.
